Gene Dugger, M.S.
Professor of Computer Science/Math
Course: Math 100 (Beginning Algebra)
Gene Dugger, has been a professor of mathematics and computer science for more than 25 years. He was director of computing from 1975 to 1988. He has his M.S. in applied mathematics with an additional year of graduate study in computer science, all done at the University of Missouri at Rolla. He was the recipient of a Distinguished Teacher Award in 1988 from Harding. He teaches Math 100 for the ADVANCE Program. He has research interests in applying mathematical models and computer simulation to problems in human immunology.

Chris Pruitt received her M.Ed. from Middle Tennessee State University ('84) in reading education and her B.A. in elementary education ('74) from Harding University. Her present responsibilities at Harding include teaching reading in the ADVANCE program as an assistant Professor of Education. Her past experiences have included teaching special education, teaching K-8 grades in multi-grade classes, and serving as dean of women at York College. She is currently President Elect of the Arkansas Association for Developmental Education (ArkADE).

Klay Bartee, M.S.
Instructor
Klay Bartee received his B.A. in education and his M.Ed and MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Harding University. He is an Assistant Professor of Psychology 100 and a counselor at Harding University. He is a member of both the Arkansas Athletic Association (AAA) and the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT). He and his wife Lisa have three children, Kris, Kasey, and Kallie.
