For Alpha Chi Alumni

Membership in Alpha Chi is for life, but we also have a program for alumni who would like to maintain an ongoing relationship with the society. By joining the Active Alumni Program, you will receive Alpha Chi's biannual scholarly journal, invitations to attend and make presentations at conventions, and an invitation to apply for the Pryor Fellowship. An annual subscription to the Active Alumni Program is only $15.

We currently send invitations to join the Active Alumni Program shortly after the graduation date you provided on your Permanent Registration Card, and for those who sign up, renewal notices go out annually. If you are interested in joining this program and do not anticipate receiving the mailing described above, simply contact the national office by selecting the Member Request Form (.pdf) from the menu above. That form also allows you to order reprints of your certificate or membership card, order another lapel pin, or update your personal information in our records.

Alumni who are affiliated with an Alpha Chi institution, either as a graduate student or a faculty or staff member, or who live in a community with an Alpha Chi school, are encouraged to support and participate in local chapter activities. Alpha Chi also has a few Alumni Chapters as provided for in the Constitution. These chapters function autonomously within constitutional guidelines and are welcome to participate in regional and national conventions. Their members are encouraged but not required to pay dues as Active Alumni. Please e-mail the national office for assistance if you wish to begin an Alumni Chapter.
