We think you’ll like it here. Why? Because we have personable, talented faculty who are dedicated to providing a solid training in art & design, all within a Christ-centered environment. And, because we have talented students who come to us from all over the United States and around the world. Our students spend many hours working together in the studio and grow very close during their time with us. Not only will you form friendships and memories, you will build a solid portfolio. You will graduate with the knowledge and skills needed to become the artist or designer you dream of becoming.
Our 34-hour core of art classes provides you with the drawing, design, and art history knowledge needed to tackle the problems you will encounter in your upper-level classes and on the job, after you graduate.
We offer a selection of specific majors that focus on painting, three-dimensional work, graphic design, interior design, and art education. In areas where we do not offer a specific degree, you have the flexibility to build a portfolio that targets many other niches in the art market, such as art therapy, illustration, art history, drawing, printmaking, and photography.
Your undergraduate studies at Harding’s Department of Art & Design will also prepare you for graduate school if that is part of your dream. We welcome you to become a part of our Art and Design family.
