Galloway Bell Tower

Galloway Bell Tower

The Galloway Bell Tower stands on the edge of the quadrangle at the center of campus. It houses the bell from Godden Hall, the multipurpose building that served as the center of campus activity from 1934 to 1951. The bell was rung each night for many years to remind students that curfew was near. (pg 119, Against the Grain. The Mission of Harding University. D. B. Burks, ed., 1998. Harding University)

Harding is steeped in history. For more information about the founding giants on whose shoulders Harding students now stand, click here.
