The Business Office is the accounts receivable office for the University. The billing and collection of student accounts is the main responsibility of this office. The Business Office will cash checks for currently enrolled students up to $200.00. The Business Office is also the liaison between Harding and ARAMARK.

Meal Plan Information

Food Service:
- Food service ranges from $508.00 to $1767.00 per term, depending on the meal plan selected.
- Meal Plan 1 (300 meal block), Meal Plan 2 (210 meal block), Meal Plan 6 (75 meal block) and Meal Plan 7 (35 meal block) include a $200 declining balance. Meal Plan 3 (160 meal block), Meal Plan 4 (125 meal block) and Meal Plan 5 (100 meal block) include a $300 declining balance. (See Chart Below)
- Declining balances may be carried forward from fall to spring terms. All students who live in residence halls (except Pryor Hall and Shores Hall) are required to eat in the cafeteria.
- Freshmen must choose either Meal Plan 1 or 2. Sophomores may choose from plans 1, 2 or 3. Juniors may choose from plans 1, 2 , 3 or 4. Seniors may choose from plans 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. (See Chart Below)
- Any plan may be selected by off-campus students and students living in Pryor, Shores, Cone or Searcy Hall.
- Students who have a physician's statement prescribing a special diet are still required to eat in the cafeteria, but the cafeteria will furnish the diet prescribed by the physician at the regular cafeteria price.

Payment
Financial Responsibility:
Harding’s financial well-being is dependent upon prompt payment of accounts. For this reason, Harding transcripts and diplomas will not be released if a student has failed to pay any indebtedness to the University. Exception is made for government loans if they are not past due. At the discretion of the administration, a student may be suspended for non-payment of indebtedness. Students cannot receive transcripts, receive diplomas or register until all account balances have been satisfied with the University. Failure to meet financial obligations to the University may result in the delinquent account being placed with a collection agency. Students are responsible for all attorney fees and other collection costs incurred by the University in collecting accounts.
There will be a $30.00 service charge on all returned paper checks; $35.00 on returned web payments.
Payment of Accounts:
All charges are due on September 1 for the fall term and February 1 for spring term. Paper checks or Money Orders may be mailed to the Business Office or given in person. Credit card (MasterCard, Discover, or American Express) or electronic check payments are made online through a third party vendor, CASHNET.
Payment Options:
- Pay the total balance on September 1 for fall term or February 1 for spring term.
- Enroll in Harding University Payment Plan: Enrollment Fee is $25.00 per term (Fall and Spring only). Pay the balance due in 4 monthly payments. Late fees will be assessed if due date is not met. Deadline for enrollment is Sept 1 for fall and February 1 for spring.
- Accounts not paid in full or not enrolled in the Payment Plan will be subject to a 5.5 percent per annum interest charge compounded monthly.
- Any additional charges incurred during a term will be posted to the student’s account and should be paid by the due date on the statement. Examples: adding classes, traffic fines, library fines, adding declining balances, etc. Any credits posted to an account will appear on the monthly statement.
