ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE BACHELOR OF MINISTRY DEGREE PROGRAM

General Program and Degree Description

Students completing the BMIN degree will have earned 92-95 credit hours in Old Testament and New Testament Biblical text, Greek, ministry (including preaching, teaching, youth and family, missions, and counseling), and Biblical research. (This represents at least 30 additional hours beyond the typical bachelor's degree in Bible.) To complete the 128-hour BMIN requirement, 33-36 hours of general education/liberal arts courses are required.

Up to 40 hours of credit in Biblical studies may be transferred from other institutions. A transfer student with an associate's or bachelor's degree may not need to take liberal arts courses, subject to approval by Harding Registrar.

Harding University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association.
