In order to better prepare students for specific ministry contexts, Global Outreach needs to better understand each individual church. Please email, fax, or mail materials you plan to use with the students.

Congregational Responsibilities

Each congregation must exercise their full initiative in order to partner with Global Outreach. Parts of the checklist below may not be attainable by some congregations. If parts of this list are unattainable, Global Outreach will compensate this limitation.

We agree to:
Issue the invitation to come
Plan the mission trip in conjunction with Global Outreach—date, place of meeting, and work program
Provide the preacher for meetings in the native language
Pay for the advertising and all financing of the local campaign
Provide lodging and food for student workers while in the city
Provide local transportation while student workers are in the city
Work alongside students
Provide a packet of information for each campaigner upon arrival which will include:
a. map of the city;
b. schedule of daily activities during campaign;
c. list of host’s addresses and phone numbers;
d. pamphlets about the city and surrounding area

One of the unique features of short term mission trips is that each experience is different. A particular method is not required of any local church, but each congregation shapes its own effort. The students and their leaders do the work requested by the church in each city.
