HUT recently hosted the Downtown church of Christ youth group for a weekend of learning to better understand the life of the poor of the world as well as God honoring ways to serve the poor. Pictured are three students in a simulation learning a little bit of what it is like to care for a blind family member.

Heather Kellis, one of a mission team preparing for service in Africa, is leading a Bible study at HUT with young ladies from the Downtown church in Searcy. The Kellis's team will be sponsored and supported by the Downtown church. 

 African Mission Fellowship (AMF) meetings are held each Wednesday evening for any students interested in Christian service in Africa. Meetings begin with a light dinner and fellowship and then continue with a devotional and program from 5:30 to 6:30.
