TV16
TV16 is Harding University's 24/7 television station that broadcasts on campus and on the local White County, Ark., cable station on Channel 16. We are one of the few universities in the country to broadcast to the community outside of the campus. We also stream our signal over the Internet 24/7 via streaming.harding.edu.
We televise Christian programming, including chapel live every weekday morning from the Benson auditorium. We broadcast many Harding University sporting events. We also air a live weekday newscast, "Live at Five," produced by students during the fall and spring semesters. Watch the 30-minute newscasts on the Link, Harding's student-produced multimedia website.
The station is under the direction of the College of Arts and Humanities, the department of communication, and the mass communication program. Ginger Blackstone is the director of TV16, and Mark Prior is the manager of our studio facility located in the Reynolds building. Scholarship and paid student positions are available with TV16.
