Say Thanks Day

This year, Say Thanks Day was on Wednesday, March 20. Approximately 1,200 thank you letters were written by students in 2012, and in 2013 we had approximately 1,500! The turnout by the Harding student body was fantastic, and it was a true testament to the outstanding character of our students. Not only did we have more thank you letters written this year, but we also had more detailed thank you notes.
One of our Say Thanks Day activities was a Highlighter Run. We thought it was a great and fun way to "highlight” our donors. All in all, the day was a blast, the students got a lot out of it, and the donors were recognized. We were very happy with the results and activities of Say Thanks Day 2013, and we cannot wait for preparations to begin for 2014.
Below you will see some of the videos that were shown in chapel to educate the students on the importance of our donors. There is also a wrap up video of the day where you will see individuals in coral colored shirts that read "Say Thanks.” Those individuals were our Say Thanks Day volunteers. The Say Thanks Day council of students was made up of seven individuals hand-picked by the Advancement office. Kasey Coble, Callie Huey, Adin Menkin, Alex Finley, Randi Owens, Alyssa Short and Paige Price recruited more than 130 other students to help out that day! We were very surprised and extremely grateful to have so many students volunteer to get involved.
If you are a donor to Harding, we want to thank you again for your selfless gifts. You are changing lives and making a difference no matter how much your gift is. Thank you!
