The Master of Arts in Teaching degree is designed for the professional development of the K-12 classroom teacher. This program provides for the life long learner's, enhancement of their skills and knowledge, utilizing the most contemporary of topics in curriculum and instruction.

Master of Education

Master of Education in Educational Leadership
Program for Building Level (Principal's) Licensure
The Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership rigorously prepares candidates to become highly qualified building level administrators. Standard teacher licensure and at least 2 years of teaching experience are required to enter the program.

Advanced Studies in Teaching and Learning
(27 hours of 35 hours offered on North Little Rock Campus)
The 35-credit ASTL master of education degree offers advanced study in assessment, use of technology and research.  The courses, aligned with National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS), provide support for teachers to develop necessary skills for pursuing National Board certification.  The program offers advanced preparation for instructional leadership and develops teachers who practice reflection through research, problem-based learning and self-inquiry.
