Software Recommendations 

The following information will help you select software that will be compatible with software in labs and other places on campus.

• Updated anti-virus software is required for all computers connected to Harding's network.  McAfee anti-virus software is provided as a free service to current students and can be acquired from the DormNet Help Desk.
• An operating system with up-to-date security patches is also required to be connected to Harding's network.
• The Microsoft Office Suite is used in all public computing labs.  This is the standard for academic use.  You may want to purchase this for your computer, or use it in the public computing labs.
