Wireless Access
Wireless network access is available in many places on campus. The general plan is to have it available in major classroom buildings as well as common gathering places.
The following buildings have access throughout:
- Mabee Business Building
- Reynolds Music & Communication Building
- McInteer Bible Center
- Olen Hendrix Building
- American Heritage Center
- Honors House
- Administration Building (less Auditorium)
- Health Sciences Building
- Ulrey Performing Arts Center
In addition, the following areas have access:
- Pryor Science west addition 1st and 2nd floors.
- Thornton Education Center 2nd and 3rd floors
- Student Center Food court area
- Library seating areas
Remote Campuses:
- Bentonville Campus
- HUGSR Library (seating areas)
- HUGSR Education Building
- HUGSR Apartments
In most of these areas, secure wireless access is available in two ways. The HUWA-SEC network provides access on Harding's internal network where M Drives and other resources are available. This network requires authentication (a Harding username and password) and a much greater level of security is provided. The HUWA-GUEST network is designed for guests of the university. No authentication is required and several options are available that are not available on the internal network (e.g. VPN to remote servers).
