For 2013, the HUA semester begins with an 18 day tour of Japan, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam including visits to many World Heritage sites. Along the way the students learn about the culture, history, language and literature of these four countries.

The study tour continues to Australia. Two nights on the Great Barrier Reef, snorkeling and scuba diving.
Two nights are spent on an outback cattle station, learning to throw a boomerang, crack a whip and mustering goats on horseback. A week at the Gold Coast, surfing and visting Australia zoo to hold a koala and feed a kangaroo.
The semester ends in Sydney, a city that offers so much, museums, beautiful architecture and the world famous Sydney Opera House. We will take a tour of the Opera House, and students will attend a performance in the concert hall.
