Mostly Music, Europe 2013

Mostly Music is an 8-week summer study in Florence, Vienna, Prague, and Paris

The program will establish residence in some of the major cultural centers of Europe, beginning in Florence, Italy, the birthplace of opera, and the home of Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Dante. Our stay coincides with the Maggio Musicale musical festival. Weʼll take side trips to Milan, Venice, Lucca, and Rome. After Florence weʼll visit Salzburg, Mozartʼs early home; Vienna, the musical capital of Europe during the lifetimes of Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms; and Prague.

Mostly Music students will enroll in a minimum of 9 credit hours in music and the liberal arts, with particular attention to Global Literacy requirements. All students will be charged for 12 credit hours, but must remain in a minimum of 9 hours throughout the program. If students enroll in more than 12 credit hours, students will be charged for the extra hours.

Limited space is available. For more information about the awesomeness of the program, contact Dr. Cliff Ganus at ganus@harding.edu. If you have any questions about courses, cost, and applications, contact the International Programs office.
