Welcome to Harding University's College of Nursing. The nursing program, founded in 1975, holds a legacy of preparing quality nurses. Our graduates are in demand. They work not only in Arkansas, but throughout the United States and the world.

Nursing Organizations
The College of Nursing sponsors several student organizations to encourage and recognize the continued success of Harding nurses and to promote a community of faculty, staff, and students in the College of Nursing.
Sigma Theta Tau International
An international honor society for nurses. Harding's College has a local chapter called Epsilon Omicron. Publication are available as well as links to professional sites.
Harding Nursing Student Association
Harding Student Nurses are eligible to participate in the Harding Nursing Student Association. This orgranization produces a monthly news letter containing information about the news, events, and activities of the College of Nursing. www.NSNA.org
National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN)
All boards of nursing are members of this organization. The NCSBN oversees the development of the National Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) and has publications available. www.NCSBN.org
Arkansas State Board of Nursing (ASBN)
Governs nursing in Arkansas. Their mission is to protect the public and act as their advocate by effectively regulating the practice of nursing. Applications for state nursing licensure may be obtained here. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST (M-F). www.state.ar.us/nurse
