Admission Requirements
NOTE: Effective August 2, 2011, Harding University has been granted Candidate for Accreditation status by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (1111 North Fairfax Street, Alexandria, VA, 22314; phone: 703-706-3245; email: accreditation@apta.org). Candidate for Accreditation is a pre-accreditation status of affiliation with the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education that indicates that the program may matriculate students in technical/professional courses and that the program is progressing toward accreditation. Candidate for Accreditation is not an accreditation status nor does it assure eventual accreditation.
Admission Requirements
- Completion of bachelor’s degree with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 and a minimum science grade point average of 3.0.
- A TOEFL score of 550 (if the applicant is an international student whose first language is not English)
- Participation in an onsite interview
- 100 hours of observation in a variety of physical therapy settings
- Completion of the GRE
- Completion all prerequisite coursework (see below)
- Three (3) letters of recommendation (character and/or academic)
- All application materials, prerequisite coursework, and volunteer experience must be completed by the end of the spring semester prior to beginning the program.
