Help Us Pave the Way! ...Back by Popular Demand
Harding administrators have designated two more areas on campus for brick paved walkways. Both areas have significant historical interest for Harding alumni and friends of the school. The first walkway will surround the Kenneth Davis Fountain at the center of the campus. The second walkway will surround the Bell Tower near Pattie Cobb Residence Hall. We’re calling the project Paving the Way.
Previously alumni and friends of Harding had the opportunity to buy inscribed bricks on the plaza in front of the Benson Auditorium or on the front lawn walk between the American Studies Building and the Olen Hendrix Building. Now you can buy a brick, or maybe several bricks, to leave your lasting impression in two of the most memorable spots on the Harding campus. Bricks will be first placed around the Davis Fountain. Once that area is filled, bricks then will be placed on the walkway around the Bell Tower.
Not only will your brick become a permanent part of two historic and treasured areas of the campus, your contribution to the Pave the Way project will provide a lasting investment in the future of Harding students. Funds raised in Pave the Way will go toward student scholarships. Each year more than 5,000 students receive scholarships awarded by the University. Through a successful Pave the Way project, even more students will be assisted with their financial needs.
Gifts of $125 will be recognized with 4”x 8” inscribed bricks (1-4 lines of text, up to 15 characters per line). Bricks are a great way to recognize a graduation, birthday, wedding, anniversary, or other special achievements. You may also wish to purchase a brick as a memorial to honor a friend or family member, an alumnus, a friend of Harding, or a special faculty or staff member of the University.
