After The Show. . . .
In related news, the winning show in Spring Sing 2013 - Resistance is Feudal (Chi Sigma Alpha, Regina, OEGE, Sigma Phi Mu and Friends) received a $2000.00 award to give to the charity of their choice. That charity was Searcy Children's Home. That's good news.
This is great news - the winning club had $3000.00 left from their production budget for the show. Those funds could be used in any way they wish - parties, t-shirts, roll over to next year, etc. According to Sabrina Cole, financial director for the Resistance is Feudal show, the remaining $3000.00 will be contributed to Searcy Children's Home in addition to the original $2000.00 donation. It is this type of generous, giving spirit, typical of the student body that is one more reason why it is great to be at Harding.
