When to Arrive
Harding's Summer Stampede
After being accepted to Harding, the next step is to prepare you for your first semester on campus. We want to assist you in taking the best possible step for your university career. Attending one of the two Summer Stampede sessions is a great way for a new student to become acquainted with Harding and have a great start to your first semester. We have planned activities to introduce you to university life. Although it is not required, it gives you several advantages. At Summer Stampede:
- You will meet with an academic counselor to complete your class schedule. The advanced orientation sessions will help you schedule your classes, eliminating decisions to be made at the start of the busy school year.
- You'll preview campus life and find out what to expect during your first semester of college.
- You can update your housing needs.
- You will become acquainted with other new students (and maybe even meet your roommate). You will have an opportunity to meet new friends, as well as teachers, with whom you will spend the next four years.
This is your invitation to attend one of these sessions.
Before You Can Reserve Your Spot:
Summer Stampede is open to students fully accepted to Harding University. which means you should have received your Harding acceptance letter in order to register. If you have not completed the admissions process or are not sure yet of your acceptance, please contact your Admissions Counselor.
In order for us to do our very best in advising and helping you select your classes, you must have taken either the ACT or SAT test before attending one of the Summer Stampede Sessions. If you are unsure that a record of your test is in our files please contact your Admissions Counselor.
