Harding University is pleased to offer our students health insurance coverage through Arkansas Student Health Insurance Plan. The plan is administered by Macori Administration and is underwritten by National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, PA.
A copy of the coverage brochure and application/rates are available for your review by selecting the link below. Actual enrollment materials are available in the Office of Human Resources located in the Ezell Building, Room 130, during normal business hours.
Students are eligible to enroll up to 31 days after August 20, 2010 for the fall semester. Coverage will begin on the day coverage is elected. Students have the option of paying for coverage by check or credit card, or the Office of Human Resources can charge the student’s account.
International students who have an F-1 or J-1 visa are eligible to participate under the domestic student insurance program, but we also offer coverage specifically designed for international students. The coverage is discussed below.
Students who are attending Harding University from foreign countries and are F-Visa or J-Visa holders are eligible to participate in an International Student Insurance program offered by Macori Administrators.
Coverage for international students is mandatory unless other insurance coverage is in place.
Students may enroll for the coverage by visiting the Office of International Students on the second floor of the Student Center, Room 237. A copy of the coverage certificate is available using the following link:
Some students might need to pursue other health insurance options. Since the Office of Human Resources is unable to give advice on your insurance needs, you should consult with a qualified insurance agent.
