About Harding

The President's Welcome

Let me be the first to welcome you to Harding University. We are excited this year to have more than 6,100 students with us. They represent 49 states and 53 nations. Fifty of these students are National Merit Scholars.

Many great and exciting challenges are continuing to impact our work; but most importantly, we are building on a foundation laid in past decades by great men and women of God. We are very much committed to being a Christian college. We are likewise committed to the propagation of the values that come from a personal relationship with God and His Son, and it is our sincere hope that every student at Harding grow spiritually, intellectually and socially. This alone creates our distinctiveness-one that we both cherish and protect and desire to continue.
