Harding Academy

Academic Support and Enrichment Center

What is ASEC?

ASEC provides academic support to students outside of the traditional classroom during the school day in an effort to reduce the time students spend tutoring outside of school hours. Academic coaching occurs in a manner that provides a learning environment conducive to the needs of each student participating in the program. ASEC coaches work with teachers to provide accommodation and guidance that students need on a daily basis to help them reach their full potential. The ASEC director communicates with teachers and coaches on a weekly basis sand also keeps parents updated on their student's progress.

Our vision

Harding Academy strongly believes that each and every child is uniquely blessed by God, having "different gifts according to the grace given" by our Heavenly Father (Romans 12:6). The ASEC vision supports this belief by providing academic support and enrichment instruction in a nurturing environment that challenges students to use their God-given gifts to their fullest potential. Through this program, we advance Harding Academy's mission to be a "Christ-centered school that cultivates a love for learning, while educating the heart and mind for eternity."
