11 RECEIVE DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARDS

The following eleven individuals received the Distinguished Service Award at the 2005 national convention in St. Louis, Mo., April 9. Alpha Chi began giving the award in 2001 to honor the individuals whose service to the society has been the most influential. Most of the recipients are current or very recent faculty sponsors recommended by their respective regional councils. The National Council of Alpha Chi also recognizes some individuals who have been retired a longer time from active participation in Alpha Chi and other friends of the society whose contributions deserve the designation "distinguished."
