The Recorder, Alpha Chi's scholarly journal, is mailed to chapters at the request of chapter sponsors. By default, all chapters receive ten copies of both the Undergraduate and Alumni issues.

 

Undergraduate Issue (Spring 2008 issue)
The Undergraduate Issue publishes work done by student members only. A typical issue contains cover art and five to eight papers or projects in the text. The Undergraduate Issue is Alpha Chi's spring journal.

Alumni Issue (Fall 2007 issue)
The Alumni Issue publishes work by Alpha Chi alumni, faculty sponsors, other faculty at institutions with Alpha Chi chapters, and others with some association with the society, such as guest speakers at chapter meetings or regional and national conventions. A typical issue contains a cover photo of an Alpha Chi campus (usually a President's Cup winner for Outstanding Chapter) and five to eight articles. The Alumni Issue is Alpha Chi's fall journal.

Proceedings Issue
The Proceedings Issue publishes the Society's national and regional meeting minutes, financial reports, convention programs, and other various business matters. This issue is only mailed to chapter sponsors, National Council members, and the libraries of colleges with Alpha Chi chapters.
