Alpha Chi National College Honor
Scholarship Society
Scholarship Recipients and Alternates for 2007-2008
The Scholarship Committees counted it a pleasure to experience
the academic work of over 130 students this year. To be exact,
there were 58 Sledge/Benedict nominations, 56 Gaston/Nolle nominations,
and 18 Pryor Alumni nominations.
This e-mail is also being sent to all national scholarship
competition nominees. A formal letter will be mailed to each
student with a copy to the chapter sponsor. In addition, a press
release regarding winners and alternates will be sent to the
appropriate PR offices. Thank you to all the chapter sponsors
who helped students prepare their scholarship applications this
year.
All scholarship money will be awarded upon verification of
enrollment in full-time study in fall 2007. A formal letter will
be mailed to each applicant. Winners having to decline an award
and alternates will each receive a $100 honorarium in the fall
with proof of fall enrollment. If an alternate becomes a recipient
and has already received his or her honorarium, the scholarship
will be for $100 less than the published prize amount.
