Chartering a Chapter
Alpha Chi has chapters
at over 300 colleges and universities across the United States.
You can determine if your college has a chapter by going to our
Member Institutions list. If you
determine that your college does not currently have a chapter
of Alpha Chi, then it may be possible to charter a new chapter.
To be eligible for consideration for a chapter of Alpha Chi,
an institution must be a full four-year senior college and, as
a minimum requirement, must be a member in good standing of the
regional accrediting association of the territory in which it
is located. Chapters may be granted only to institutions or divisions
of institutions whose work is primarily academic in nature and
for which such degrees as Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science
are conferred.
Please review the extended information (linked below) to help
your college's administration decide about chartering a chapter.
If you have specific questions, feel free to contact either Dr.
Dennis Organ or Ms. Lara Noah at 800-477-4225.
