How do I become a member of AX?
First of all, there must be a chapter of Alpha Chi at your school.
For those of you attending a school with an Alpha Chi chapter,
the top ten percent of students in the junior and senior classes
are eligible for membership. However, individual chapters do
have the right to set higher standards. You'll need to check
with your chapter's faculty sponsor to determine the standards
at your school.
If there isn't
a chapter at your school, you cannot become a member of Alpha
Chi. To pursue starting a chapter, you'll need to approach your
administration or perhaps the office of student affairs. Please
see our list of member institutions to determine if there is
a chapter at your school. Chapter List
How do I request a reprint of
my certificate?
You may order a reprint of your Alpha Chi membership certificate
by mailing a $5.00 check or money order made payable to Alpha
Chi. If it's available, having your AX Record Number will help.
In addition to the check, include the following information:
- Your name as it should appear on the new certificate
- Your Alpha Chi Record Number or Social Security Number
- Any previous last name (if applicable)
- The college at which you were inducted
- The approximate month and year of your induction into Alpha
Chi
- Your mailing address and phone number or e-mail address
Mail the above to:
