Multimedia Altered Book

I chose to pay homage to H.R. Giger, one of my favourite artists, with this piece of art. The book I started with was a child psychology book. The chapter I selected was about mothers with child thinking of abnormalities their undborn children may have. I made the book appear to be keeping the mother alive at its own expense to reflect the idea of a book helping mothers through a potentially difficult time.
