Center for World Missions

Our Mission

The goal of the Center for World Missions is to contribute to the reconciliation of humankind to God through our service to Harding students, to current missionaries, both foreign and domestic, and to the churches that send them.

General Objectives

By the grace of God, the Center for World Missions will contribute to the ministry of reconciliation by:

1. Working with students to
   1. increase the number of full-time, long-term missionaries on the field through better recruiting, mentoring, training, and funding of students interested in missions, and
   2. instill a sense of mission in every student we teach through better equipping, mentoring and cooperation with the vocational ministry program.
2. Serving current missionaries by enhancing their ministries through
   1. continuing education and resourcing,
   2. facilitating cooperative efforts between sending churches and mission teams, and
   3. providing specialized counseling services through our Marriage and Family Therapy program.
3. Serving sending churches through
   1. missions education with seminars on and off campus and
   2. information resources on-line and in the Missions Archives.
