The Director
“It is my job to see that students with disabilities have equal access to academics and campus life at Harding University.”
Teresa McLeod, Disabilities Director
Teresa has her Master’s Degree in Special Education from the University of Memphis. She has over 20 years of experience as a special educator teaching students with special needs ranging from preschool through the college level. Teresa has spent the last fifteen years making academic accommodations for students at Harding. She serves as the liaison between our students with documented disabilities and the faculty and administrators on our campus, as needed. We affectionately refer to her as “Mother Teresa.” She is a past chair of the Arkansas Association on Higher Education and Disability, and she is active in the community conducting various seminars. Teresa and her husband, Randy, a professor in the College of Business Administration at Harding, have five grown children and 8 grandchildren.
