Your grade will be determined by the percentage of points you receive out of the total points possible during the semester. 90% of those point will earn you an "A", 80% points a "B" etc.
Since this is an upper level class with, hopefully, mature adult students, I will keep a record of your class attendance only because it is an administrative requirement. Be aware, however, because of the nature of this class -- especially since we have no text book --that absences usually result in not getting information that might be vital to you.
If you have an excused absence, please be sure to get any notes and/or assignments missed before returning to class and be ready to participate upon your return.
All tests missed due to excused absences must be made up within a week of your return to class or it will be recorded as a zero. It is your responsibility to make an appointment to take make ups.
Unexcused missed tests are automatically a zero, and late submission of assignments result in a 10% grade reduction per day. [If you are absent when an assignment is due it is still due on the day stipulated.]
