Typing Race

Basic Requirements:

• Prompt the user for a character by presenting the character.
• Get a character from the user.
• Compare the character typed with the character prompted (Case Insensitive).
• Keep prompting for the same character until it is typed correctly.
• Keep track of how many characters were typed correctly and how many were typed incorrectly.
• A top 5 score list.
• An option to play an n second time test must be available.
• A case sensitive option.

Other Requirements:

· 3 additional features must be added to the game. 5 bonus points (max of 15 points) will be added for each additional feature.

Recommendations:

· Whole word test. (Real words or gibberish)

· (Jeff’s Idea) Present an up or down arrow in front of the letter to indicate to type the letter before or after it alphabetically.

· Sound for correct and incorrect entries.

· Sound for current character.

· Try to go as long as possible without making a mistake, allow only 2 second per letter.

· Game difficult levels.

· A pause functionality that clears the screen then presents a new letter when it begins.

· Alphabet test. Stop them if they make a mistake.

· Morse Code (User types Morse code or letter)

· Writing a Windows Application.
