Goals

1. The students will become familiar with at least one source of software engineering literature while preparing for their own presentation.
2. The students will be exposed to a wide variety of software engineering literature when hearing the presentations of other students.
3. The students will have public speaking practice using material in their field.

Assignment

• Read an approved software engineering article.
• You must have your article approved at least one week before your presentation.
• Summarize the article in outline form. Use HTML, Word, Power-Point or another similar format. I must be able to post your notes on my web page on the date of your presentation.
• Present your findings on the assigned date. Your presentation should contain at least 8 minutes of valuable material.

Other Responsibilities

• Each exam will contain questions form the student presentations. Be prepared to answer them.
• Each student is expected to be polite and give attention to other student’s presentations. Points will be deducted from your score otherwise.
