Center for Math & Science Education
About Us
The goal of the Center for Math and Science Education (CMSE) is to meet the needs of P-12 math and science teachers through professional development workshops, graduate classes, and hands-on training.
The center trains with materials that support mathematics and science education standards and provides network sessions for them to share their experiences.
Field study trips are offered each summer for approximately 40 area teachers. These trips are designed to explore the geological features of our state and other parts of the country. Groups have traveled to places such as the Northwest, the Southeast, Yellowstone and Alaska.
