Accreditation





The Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering programs are accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).

The educational objectives of the Harding University Computer, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering Programs are the following:

  1. Graduates will have fundamental technical knowledge and skills that will enable them to have successful careers in the engineering profession.

  2. Graduates will consider the broader impact of the engineering decisions they make as they relate to cultural, religious, ethical, economic, and environmental issues.

  3. Graduates will possess the communication and team skills necessary to work effectively with others.

  4. Graduates will have the ability to apply engineering design principles to create or improve systems, components or processes.

  5. Graduates will continue learning and stay current with their profession.
