The Trapmaster - Automatic Clay Target Thrower
Team Members: Sean Beasley, Roberto Villatoro, Mitch Jones, Chad Eason, Josh Jackson (Team Leader)
Project Description:
The Trapmaster is a voice activated, portable, one-man automatic clay target thrower. This device was designed to overcome
many potential problems that hunters face when they wish to shoot clay targets.
The Trapmaster consists of a metallic disk that spins at a high rate of speed using a gas powered lawn mower engine. The
device has a hopper at the top that dispenses a clay targe when activated by a voice command to do so. The voice command unit
consists of a microphone, several solenoids, and a microcontroller to control the hopper. This device required a lot of mechanical
knowledge.
