Jenene Alexander, Ed.D., NCSP, LPC
Director of the Master of Science in Counseling Program, Dr. Jenene Alexander brings a wealth of practical experience in public school counseling. She has worked with traumatized children, including three years with the sheriff's department and is a licensed professional counselor and a nationally certified school psychologist.

Michael Jones, Ed.S., NCC, LPC
Assistant professor and a licensed professional counselor in multiple states,  Michael Jones has experience in pastoral counseling, school based mental health, addictive behavior, and private practice.  He holds a national certification in Technology Assisted Counseling.

Todd Patten, Ed.D., NCC, LPC
Field Placement Director, Associate professor and a licensed professional counselor in multiple states, Todd Patten holds the LBSW and LCCA in Texas. He has 10 years experience in management, education, child care, and clinical counseling and has served as director of therapeutic group homes. His community experience also includes working closely with the Red Cross in health and safety and disaster response.

Karl Wendt, Ph. D.

Dr. Wendt has 19 years experience as the Director of the Mt. Hope Christian Counseling Center and has also been the Family Life Minister for Mt. Hope Church of Christ in Joplin, MO.  His BA in Bible is from Harding University, MA in Counseling from NE Louisiana University, and his PhD is in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Louis University. He has taught for the Professional Counseling: Clinical and School program at Harding’s Northwest Arkansas Professional  Center in Bentonville for 4 years as an adjunct professor.  

Karl has a radio program entitled Real Solutions which airs weekly on New Life Radio, the local Christian radio station [KMOQ].  Karl can also be seen every Tuesday morning on KSN [an NBC affiliate] Morning Show.

Kathy Howard, Ed.D., LPC
As director of the Psychology Program, Dr. Howard works in community counseling with extensive experience in counseling children and adolescents and is well versed in cultural diversity counseling issues. She also has a high interest in forensic counseling.

Beth Robinson, Ed.D., LPC
Well-known speaker and author of several books, including Helping Church Teens Deal With Challenging Issues: Sex, Dr. Robinson works with traumatized sexualized children and adolescents. She is also licensed as a school counselor and is a certified juvenile sex offender counselor.

Ervin E. (Gene) Wright II, Ph.D, LPC
His work experience has focused mostly on working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses as well as those who have been identified as criminal offenders. Populations he has worked with include sex offenders, domestic violence batterers, and not guilty by reason of insanity acquittees. In addition, he has worked as an adjunct and assistant professor at Heidelberg University and Harding University. He is currently employed as assistant professor at Spring Arbor University, a Christian University in Michigan.
