The Academic Advising Center at Arkansas Tech University is seeking an Academic Advisor to join their advising team.  This advisor will report to the Director of the Academic Advising Center under the auspices of the Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management.  Position responsibilities include advising and scheduling courses for undergraduate students, interpreting University policies and regulations, and actively pursuing a variety of retention programs.  A master’s degree in college student personnel, teaching, or counseling is preferred.  Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and proficiency with relevant technology is required.  This is a full-time, 12-month position with a salary commensurate with relevant experience and education in the mid $30,000 range.  Anticipated employment date is August 1, 2014.  Candidates should submit a statement of qualifications, vita, copies of transcripts, and contact information for five references to: Linda Clarke, Director of the Academic Advising Center, Arkansas Tech University, 106 West O Street, Russellville, AR 72801-2222.  Closing date for accepting applications will be July 1, 2014.

Capstone Treatment Center is a Christ-Centered residential program for young adult and adolescent males. Capstone is seeking a motivated, energetic case manager/utilization review manager for our program.  The case manager/utilization review manager is the primary person responsible for submitting insurance claims and insurance reviews for clients of Capstone. The individual must be familiar with the utilization review process and initial authorization procedures. This individual will with work with Capstone’s clinical team to gather and conceptualize cases to review with insurance case managers. They will be responsible for all utilization management. The case load will vary depending on current census. The case manager/utilization review manager serves as a client benefits advocate and makes every effort to ensure staff compliance with insurance requirements. Georgia Agape has the following position open: The Director of Counseling will lead the efforts for the launch of the agency’s counseling program and also be the one to directly provide counseling services. This person will be a highly skilled professional and multi-talented. The Director of Counseling will be capable of handling the administrative and management functions of the agency’s counseling program, provide the counseling, do public relations work, lead seminars, trainings and classes and build the program by adding additional counselors over time. As a new program of the agency, the Director of Counseling will be the lead person in getting the program organized, including getting policies and practices in place and building the client load for this work. To begin with, our counseling program will include family counseling, marriage counseling, child/parent counseling, post adoption counseling, individual counseling and premarital counseling. It will provide help and support to our foster and adoptive families. The Director of Counseling will ensure that our counseling services are of high quality and appropriately affordable. As the program grows, additional services can be added according to the specialties and skills of available counselors. Counselors can offer seminars and workshops on topics of interest. We can offer group work on special topics of concern. The Director of Counseling will work under the supervision of the Executive Director regarding all of the above. A master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education is required. Degree must be in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. If highest academic degree held is a master’s degree then a minimum of five years of full-time, post-degree work (or its equivalent) providing direct counseling and/or psychological services is required. If academic degree held is a doctoral degree then a minimum of three years of full-time, post-degree work (or its equivalent) is required. Seeking a Full Time Mental Health Professional at the Heber Springs Clinic.   Person chosen will provide professional behavioral health clinical services to clients including assessment, referral, treatment planning, counseling, and discharge planning.  Important part of the treatment team and provides case consultation and assistance to paraprofessionals associated with the client.  Qualifications: LAC, LPC, LMFT positions requires a graduate degree from an accredited graduate program in a behavioral health-related field.  This includes graduate degrees in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family.  All clinicians must be licensed within their professions by their respective Arkansas State Boards.

Responsible for supervision of all clinical advisors, licensed mental health therapists, paraprofessionals, and administrative staff in the region.  Qualifications are: Master’s Degree in social work, social service, human service, or other counseling-related field is required.
