Summer Enrichment Programs
Harding University offers the following diverse summer enrichment programs to challenge high school students spiritually, academically, socially and physically.
Honors Symposium
The Honors Symposium is a two-week academic program on the Searcy campus intended to challenge, encourage and uplift high school students who are now in their junior year. Students accepted into the symposium attend class with outstanding professors, engage in community service projects, enjoy recreational activities, and invariably form lasting friendships with other junior scholars. Three hours of transferable university credit are awarded to all who successfully complete the symposium, the content of which is designed to appeal to students of both the humanities and the sciences. Summer Honor Choir
Enjoy five days of advanced work in choral music and related fields, including music literature, sight-reading and group voice instruction. This program will help you prepare for college auditions, become a more secure singer, explore your other talents, and earn an hour of college credit. More info...
Honors Abroad Program
This program is open to college students or to high school students who have completed their junior or senior year. It is designed especially for (but not limited to) those planning to major in Bible and ministry. You will fly to Athens, Greece, and visit famous biblical and archeological sites such as The Acropolis, Mars Hill, Ancient Corinth and the Greek island of Crete. The trip concludes with four days in Rome and Southern Italy. More info...
