9 and 10 a.m. Chapel, Benson Auditorium

9:45 a.m.-2 p.m. Registration for Bison Stampede 5K Run, Hammon Student Center, $20

11 a.m.-4 p.m. Harding History House featuring a chronological story of Harding’s five presidents and the Coach John Prock exhibit and more. There is always something new.205 N. Lott Tucker Drive

5:30 p.m. Heritage Circle Banquet, Founders Room, second floor of the Heritage Center. Golden, Emerald, Platinum, Platinum Plus and Diamond Circles Induction and Reunion will honor the Classes of ’63, ’58, ’53, ’48, ’43, ’38 and ’33.Two free tickets for inductees; $16 for others

 

Friday, October 31

8 a.m. Check-in and 9 a.m. Shotgun Start, Bison Booster Club Golf Tournament, Course at River Oaks. $100 per person, $400 per team and/or $100 hold sponsorship

8 a.m.-3 p.m. Faith and Business Symposium Speakers, Mabee Business Building. Several alumni and guests will be giving presentations on topics such as business ethics, current issues in business and advice for COBA students. Everyone is welcome.

Any high school juniors or seniors who may be coming with family members for Homecoming and would like to participate in Bison Days, they may want to log on to www.harding.edu/admissions and click on the Bison Days link for all the details.

5:30 p.m. 90th Anniversary Black and Gold Banquet, Charles White Cafeteria, $18. A wonderful evening to remind you of your favorite Harding memories celebrated with some of your favorite Harding heroes. Dr. Clifton L. Ganus, Jr. will emcee honoring Harding’s outstanding and distinguished alumni.

7 p.m. Lady Bison Soccer vs. Southwestern Oklahoma University – Stevens Soccer Field

8 p.m. Homecoming Musical -Shrek: The Musical” Benson Auditorium, $15 and $18. Join the cast, crew and orchestra following the play for complimentary coffee in the Student Center.

10:30 p.m. Bison Block Party at Legacy Park - Hang out with your friends, enjoy s’mores and listen to the music following the musical. Sponsored by Admissions, Alumni and Parent Relations, CAB and the Student Association.

7:30-9:30 a.m. Sub T-16 Reunion, Regions Room - Heritage 206, $10

8:30-9:45 a.m. Alumni Continental Breakfast, Student Center. Meet your friends and pick up the latest schedule of events.

8 a.m. Bison Stampede 5K Run, registration in front of the Student Center, $20. Race starts at 9 a.m. Each participant receives a T-shirt.

8-10 a.m. President’s Council Meeting, Founders Room

10-10:35 a.m. Alumni Chapel, Administration Auditorium. Dr. Bruce McLarty will be keynote speaker with singing led by the family of Andy T. Ritchie Jr. Remember the songs and share the memories of chapel with other alumni.

10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. A free shuttle is available for transportation to and from the Ganus Athletic Center (west side), Legacy Park, Harding History House and the Heritage Center at the Market Street entrance.

10:45 a.m.-12 p.m. Pictures in a Harding swing, near the Bell Tower, $10. (Other packages available) Capture the memories with your friends and family with photos from the front lawn. In case of inclement weather, pictures will be taken in the Heritage Lobby.

11:45 a.m. Walk of Brothers – Line up in front of the Ganus Athletic Center and cheer the Harding Bison Football team as they prepare to meet Southeastern Oklahoma State University at 2 p.m. in an important Great American Conference game.

11 a.m.-1:45 p.m. Harding Family Picnic and Giant Tailgate Celebration, Ganus Athletic Center front lawn. $10 adults, $5 for children 6-11. Families may use current student’s meal plan. Children under 6 eat for free with parent. Heritage Circle members will be seated inside the GAC.

Classes of ’39, ’44, ’49, ’54, ’59, ’64, ’69, ’74, ’79, ’84, ’89, ’94, ’99, ‘04 and ‘09 will meet at the Family Picnic. Signs denoting class years will be posted at the picnic. Heritage Circle classes will be seated inside the gym. Other classes will be seated outside weather permitting.

Tailgating, First Security Stadium. Bring your grills, black and gold décor and Bison spirit to create the ultimate outdoor dining experience before the game. Invite friends and current students to join you. Don’t want to cook? ARAMARK will be grilling burgers and hot dogs.

12:30 p.m. – Dedication of the Cross Country and Track & Field Locker Room – Ganus Athletic Center (old football locker rooms near the Jim Citty Complex)

2 p.m. Bison Football vs. Southeastern Oklahoma State University, First Security Stadium, reserved seats $10 and general admission $8.
