Harding University in Greece (HUG)
HUG is conducted every Fall, Spring and Summer.
(NOTE: Summer 2010 is for Bible Majors, Fall 2010 is for Honors Students)
Greece is a rare dichotomy of ancient and modern. While living in the cradle of democracy, HUG students encounter important archaeological sites and experience the open-air "museum" of Athens. Greece offers the historic shop-filled old town, Plaka; the grand architecture of the Parthenon on the Acropolis; and the alluring beauty of its many islands. Students stay in Harding's apartment-style resort located in Porto Rafti, which is considered the most beautiful natural harbor in all of Greece. Tours to Corinth, Delphi, Sounion, Olympus, Turkey, Israel and Egypt are typically included in the program, as well as a Mediterranean cruise. Emphasis is given to sites of biblical interest.
