Although the HUM 201 class is designed to be done primarily on site in Britain, there are materials in the guidebook (the text for this class) and links on the HUM 201 syllabus which you can read ahead of time.  I'd especially recommend the sections on the places we'll be visiting on our initial tour of The Isles, as well as information on the currency, public transport, using pay telephones, banking, and shopping.  These latter sections may be found at the end of the book.
