Courses

The master of science in marriage and family therapy is a 60-semester-hour course of study offered by the College of Bible and Religion.

The practicum includes a minimum of 500 client contact hours and 100 hours of supervision by the clinical faculty. The program provides individual supervision (no more than two students) and group supervision (no more than six students). Requirements demand a one to five ratio of supervision to therapy hours. A minimum of 50 percent of the supervision hours must be individual. Raw data (live, videotape, or audiotape therapy) must be used in at least 50 percent of the supervision hours.
