Position: Full-time faculty member in music
Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate studio voice and other courses in the department in accordance with the candidate’s interests and qualifications. Assist with student recruitment and advising.
Qualifications: Doctorate in music preferred. Documented and demonstrated success at the collegiate level as vocal instructor and classroom teacher. Established and documentable membership in the Churches of Christ. Experience in teaching music theory and in high school classrooms will be positively considered. Appointment: Full-time appointment beginning August, 2014. Rank and salary commensurate with qualifications.
The University: Located in Searcy, Arkansas, Harding University is a private, Christian, liberal arts school dedicated to the integration of faith, learning and living. The Department: The Department of Music offers Bachelor of Music Education and Bachelor of Arts in Music degrees. There are twelve full-time and nine adjunct faculty members and over seventy music majors. The department is a fully accredited institutional member of NASM.
