Harding announces Major League Baseball dates
SEARCY, Ark. – The Office of Admissions Services has announced dates for 2008 Harding Nights with Major League Baseball teams. This year, Admissions will host nights with the Texas Rangers, Houston Astros and St. Louis Cardinals. Ticket information for all three events will be posted at www.harding.edu/admissions in April.
Harding Night with the Texas Rangers
Watch the Texas Rangers play the Cleveland Indians in Arlington Monday, June 2. Make plans to attend the largest off-campus event Harding hosts. Enjoy a great meal, seats, T-shirt, door prizes and game. Door prizes for this event include tickets to a stadium suite.
Last year, more than 930 prospective and current students, alumni and friends joined Harding Night with the Rangers, making it the largest group the Texas Rangers have ever hosted. Fans represented a wide range of Texas cities, and some groups traveled from out of state.
Harding Night with the Houston Astros
On Friday, June 6, the Houston Astros will battle the St. Louis Cardinals in Houston. Participants will have the opportunity to win great door prizes at this event, which begins with a reception in Champions Pavilion.
More than 500 current and prospective students, alumni and friends attended Harding Night with the Houston Astros last June. Craig Biggio collected his 3,000th career hit, and Carlos Lee hit a grand slam with two outs in the 11th inning as the Astros beat the Colorado Rockies. A pre-game reception was held at The Depot at Union Station with representatives from many Texas youth groups. It was an incredible game with a sold-out crowd.

Harding Night with the St. Louis Cardinals
On Thursday, May 29, the St. Louis Cardinals and Houston Astros will take the field in St. Louis.

Harding Night with the Chicago Cubs
Experience the nostalgia of Wrigley Field combined with the best of Harding University at Harding Night with the Chicago Cubs Thursday, May 29. Tickets for the game, which includes a pizza dinner at D'Agostino's, 1351 W. Addison St., are $10. Dinner begins at 5 p.m., and the game is at 7:05 p.m. Pick up your ticket at the dinner.
