Harding University Homecoming weekend to offer many festivities

SEARCY, Ark.— The Harding University campus will be full of activities
for visiting families and returning alumni during Homecoming weekend
Oct. 29-31.

The University admissions office will host the second Bison Daze of
the 2009-10 school year, with up to 325 student guests visiting. This
is the largest Bison Daze of the year and will begin on Thursday, Oct.
29, and last through Nov. 1.

The weekend will also include the annual Black and Gold Banquet
Friday, Oct. 30, at 5:30 p.m., where Dr. Cliff Ganus Jr. will honor
Harding’s outstanding and distinguished alumni. The banquet will be
held in the Charles White Cafeteria, and tickets are $16.

On Saturday at 9 a.m., the Bison Stampede 5K Run will take place.
Registration will be in front of the Thornton Education Center
beginning at 8 a.m. The cost is $15, and each participant will receive
a T-shirt.

The Harding Bisons football team will play Henderson State University
at First Security Stadium on Saturday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for
reserved seats and $7 for general admission.

The annual Homecoming musical is “Scrooge,” showing Oct. 30-31 at 8
p.m. in the Benson Auditorium. Tickets are $10, $12, and $15, and a
cast party will be held in the Hammon Student Center following each
performance.
