Harding University holds exhibition in Stevens Art Center

SEARCY, Ark.— Harding University is currently holding an exhibition in
the Stevens Art Gallery through Sept. 25 featuring art by Leaf Moore.

Moore arrived in the United States from China nine months ago and
taught Detail Painting at Xiangfan University in China for 15 years.
The exhibition will also display paintings from two of her former
students.

“Her art style is a mixture of Oriental and Western influences,”
according to John Keller, chair of the department of art and design.

Moore will teach detail flower painting for the Continuing Education
Program at Harding University starting in October.

There will be a reception honoring Moore on Tuesday, Sept. 8, from 4-6
p.m. at the Stevens Art Gallery. Normal gallery hours are
Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, contact the art
