Harding College of Pharmacy faculty elected AAHP President

SEARCY, Ark.— Rayanne Story, assistant professor in the College of
Pharmacy at Harding University, was recently elected to a three-year
term as president of the Arkansas Association of Health-System
Pharmacists.

She will serve initially as president-elect beginning October 2009 and
then will be installed as president in October 2010 at the full
convention.

Story will also speak at the AAHP convention in Little Rock, Oct. 9,
2009, on the use of emergency medications and review of ACLS, Advanced
Cardiac Life Support, guidelines.

The AAHP is a professional organization made up of pharmacists,
technicians, students and others that support pharmacy as an essential
component of the health care system.

Harding had a record enrollment this year of more than 6,600 students
from all 50 states and 49 foreign countries. It is the largest private
university in Arkansas and attracts more National Merit Scholars than
any other private university in the state. Harding also maintains
campuses in Australia, Chile, England, France/Switzerland, Greece,
Italy and Zambia.
