Harding’s Graduate Reading Program to host authors
SEARCY, Ark. ⎯ Harding University’s Graduate Reading Program will host
two noted authors for book signings in the coming weeks.
Stephanie Stuve-Bodeen will be in the Benson Auditorium on campus
Wednesday, July 22, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to sign books and will
also have copies for sale. She is the author of A Small Brown Dog With
a Wet Pink Nose, Elizabeti’s Doll, and several others. One of her most
recent works, The Compound, has been nominated by the American Library
Association for the 2009 Best Books for Young Adults. In addition, it
was named a 2009 ALA Quick Pick for Reluctant Readers.
Linda Gerber will be on campus in Benson Auditorium on Wednesday, July
29, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. She is the author of Death by Latte,
Death by Bikini, Death by Denim, and the popular Students Across the
Seven Seas series, which includes Now and Zen, nominated in 2006 by
the ALA for Popular Paperback. Her young adult books are popular with
youth and adults alike.
